Notes on entries
- The ticket does not entitle
the owner to a seated place;
- In case of change of the
show's date or place, the ticket
is valid for the definitive
place and date and doesn't
entitle the owner to a refund;
- If any of the shows is
cancelled, Câmara Municipal de
Sines refunds the ticket owner;
- Pets and dangerous objects (including
tins and bottles) are not
allowed inside the festival
spaces;
- Don't bring babies and
children under 4 years old to
the festival spaces (concerts);
- Exits during the shows are
controlled by a small ticket for
that specific purpose. Don't
lose it;
- Audio and video recordings are
forbidden. Photographs inside
Centro de Artes Auditorium are
forbidden. Access to the
photographer pits is restricted
to professionals with a
credential. |

around?

Are the
stages far from each other?
The stages
in Sines’ town (Castle, Centro
de Artes and Beach Stage) are
less than a 5m walk from each
other. Porto Covo, the village
where the first 9 concerts take
places, is 13km south of Sines.
A car is recommended to travel
between Sines and Porto Covo,
since the buses, although timely,
are not very frequent.

ACCOMODATION
Where can I get accommodated in
Sines and Porto Covo?

Sines doesn’t have top rank
hotels (4 stars and above), but
those listed (even the
guesthouses - pensões) are clean
and comfortable.
Is there any special
accommodation for people
attending the festival?
No. But for the campers who
cannot get a place in any of
Sines' camping parks (always
preferable), there are (from the
17th to the 27th of July) two
alternative camping areas in the
town (see location
here).
The access to alternative
camping areas is free, they have
bath-rooms and showers but no
security service is provided. |
EATING
What can I eat in Sines?
Well, just enjoy our food and
restaurants. This year, the
traditional gastronomy show,
which will take place next to
the Beach Stage, will be
extended for the festival period.
You can eat there as well.
Just a note on schedules: in the
festival days, restaurant’s
service tends to be slower. Eat
early if you want avoid missing
the beginning of the 9:30pm
concerts in the Castle. |
